A lovely day.

March 2, Rio Hondo.

Today we were on a wonderful lot - a Kelly Miller lot, much much unlike the Chimera lots we usually get in the valley, our own private lawn without having to mow it. This in the most unlikely place, Circus Chimera's old winter quarters town, and where Jim Judkins, ill-fated Chimera's owner still lives.
Today was a perfectly lovely day, cool and sunny, peaceful, the kids playing together, Dylan and Nicolas making new friends in the Argentinian kids, the customary Brian treatment (suggestion for a new blog: The Cook House Diaries,) the program all but done, just lovely.
And the audience tonight is a joy to hear, roaring laughter cheers and applause (we are parked right next to the tent so it is like being inside it without being there.)
