We all but shaved off Nicolas' hair yesterday so we can clean his scalp of the cradle cap remains the doctor at the emergency room last week told me could get infected and prevent hair growth. I call him my Buddhist monk; he looks awesome, but then the kid would look awesome with purple hair, bien sur.

Did the doctor also tell you to "grease" his head with oil? He would fit right in with the '50s theme...if he still had hair. Hope it clears up soon. Barb
No, the doctor did not tell me anything (when do they ever? at least in plain English) but I already knew. Half an hour before, then a little drop of shampoo (without saying the word, which would send Monk Nicolas into hysterical mode) and an old toothbrush, and voila! He didn't even protest, when we were expecting a call from child services over the screaming...
