June 3, Strasburg.
There was a school trip today to a train museum, the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. I took both Dylan and Nicolas there and it was like living the movie The Polar Express, their favorite of the year, with all the impressive, beautifully restored old locomotives and coaches.
Unfortunately I became utterly sick half-way through the visit and ended up spending the day back home in bed with a killing headache and nausea, but the kids had a great time.
There was even a Mister Conductor asking for "Tickets, please!"

Hello! I found your blog while searching for information about Kelly Miller, and I've been enjoying reading about your insights and experiences traveling with the circus as a mom. My children and I came to see the circus in Strasburg, and we were delighted to have such a great show just up the street from our house. I hope your children enjoyed the railroad museum while you were here--my three-year-old is a big fan of it.
