A most familiar view backstage is that of Johnnie sitting on the finale prop box peering over a book. Sometimes it's a novel, more often a textbook, and always he is intently focused, but also careful to do his job right.
In addition to being a twelve-year-old with homework Johnnie's in charge of the curtain, letting performers in and out as the show progresses.
