Breathing the mountain air.

July 9, North Creek.

Fridman is sick with a severe flu; he's been lying down with fever, chills and aches since yesterday. Worrying is like a frost over every breath.
I dream of hiking in the woods all around us, alone.
This morning Reyna, Johnnie, Nathan, the kids and I took a train ride along the Hudson river.

Hi, Sorry to read Fridmans ill.Not the swine flu I hope. Drs visit? I am sorry for not writing but in person would be so much better. We are OK. Garage saleing every weekend looking for that spare Van Gogh or Renior for a $1.00. Meanwhile the house gets more crowded. I think you would be amazed how it has changed or maybe not since you know how we are. We still have the kitties. They are now 3 months. We plan to get the Moms shots then fixed. Donate some of the kitties and keep 2 or 3. Then they get shots and fixed. They are so much fun and the purring is devine. Thanks for cast pictures but one of you would be nice. How is your Mom and her friend that was diagnosed with cancer? Playland is Playland. Popular with weekly parties. One Friday they had 147 guests. We rarely go there usually to drop off prizes for the games. Carmela and Nathanial are fine. He is getting to be so professional. I miss the pre-open days when we had his private magic shows. Will write more often. Miss you all so much. Give Fridman, Dylan, Peanut and yourself big bear hugs from Bob and I. Love Beverly/Bob

Beverly,
Thank you so much for writing, I do worry that you don't write as often as you used to, hope you are fine.
I wish I could claim one of these kitties, you know me.
And Nathaniel, he must be so big now, how old is he? I remember Carmela as a truly beautiful kid, inside and out, please say hi to them both and their father too.
We go garage-saling as often as we can too, although we have the same pb you do, ie, space! But always something there, isn't it? Earlier this week I found a beautiful silver tea set at Goodwill, can't beat the price, no matter I'll probably never get to use the set, certainly not as long as we are in the trailer, and/or the kids are small.
Big hugs and lots of kisses for you too, write more often.
NB: Fridman is fine today (now it's the kids...)

Valarie, I am interested in your oral history "project" which I read about with the picture of Lucky Eddie. I was with KM summer before last for three weeks, and I think this was the first year he and Miss Vickie were with the show. How extensive is your project?
