September 17, McHenry.
Yesterday there couldn't have been worse conditions for the shoot, other than rain. Gusty winds and blasting sunshine alternating with clouds had me frazzled, and called for circus-style reinforcement in the form of stakes and ropes to anchor the frame. But today was just perfect, not a whisper of wind and a nice cloud cover, and this time both Antonio and Jenaro showed up (Castro rode by on his bike and I stopped him.)
I plan to set up the studio again at the two towns coming up, as we are staying two days in each, hoping to entice more people to walk up to the shot.
