The girls.

June 12, Ringoes.

Out-take (Carolyn.)

June 12, Ringoes.

Mesh.

June 12, Ringoes.

Last ditch attempt at getting a picture of Casey and Shonti.
Nice mesh.

Circus salon.

June 11, Plumsteadville.

I was at the hair salon this morning, crossing path with Nikki, and here come Buckner and Tavana.
When I went back for Dylan, there were Nellie, Mariana, Cathy and Zefta waiting.

Round the mulberry bush.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

There is a mulberry bush in our front yard.
We all ate some, but Nicolas looks best in crimson.

All bets are off.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

The World Cup starts tomorrow and the whole circus came together to draw a team for each and bet for a winner (Armando drew Cameroon twice, to general hilarity.)
It reminded me of Circus Chimera, where the same ritual went on in 2002, somewhere in New Mexico.

Raising the flags.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

Raising the tent.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

Revisiting the crew.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

The painters.

June 10, Plumsteadville.

There were two local painters, Peter Hunt and Robert Beck, this morning around the tent.
Robert Beck actually lives from his art; he has a gallery nearby in Lambertville, New Jersey, and travels to different landscapes around the country and the world.
I'm jealous.

Out-take (Dylan at The Shore.)

June 9, Pemberton.

Unearthed.

June 9, Pemberton.

Unearthed some pictures of my friends Greg and Sally taken last year in their old home of eighteen years, now left behind, for no other reason than I was thinking of them.

The Shore.

June 8, Mays Landing.

We swung by Atlantic City to take a dip in the sea.
Ugly casinos, pink tops and golden years by the shore.

Annual pilgrimages.

June 7, Bridgeton.

To Mary Ellen's for our now annual visit, after driving around Bridgeton and Millville to satisfy my New Jersey sightseeing craving of a whole year.

June 7, Bridgeton, New Jersey (27 miles, Dutch Neck Village.)

To the diner.

June 6, Woodstown.

Nice crowds here, nice change, and they were a good audience too.
There was supposed to be big storms and even tornadoes coming on so we called off the birthday BBQ we had planned and went to the Woodstown Diner instead with John and his family. When Jackie walked in we invited her over.
Nicolas kept asking for pancakes but when they came he wouldn't eat them, claiming these were not pancakes. We figured he must have meant cake.
We had a great time.
Can't do New Jersey without a diner dinner.
