I've always thought that with color you see the thing, but with black and white you see the emotion. It's well used here.Maybe it's because I was raised Catholic. Maybe it's because I've known faith and love and friendship. Maybe it's simply how well you photograph....but I find these photos deeply affecting. Thank you for sharing them....and congratulations to Tavana and her family!
Thanks. The B&W was actually because the light under the cook house tent is horrendous, it paints everything red, and I'd decided not to use fill-flash to correct that...
Well, it works!...and they are great photos. Your work, is again and always, wonderful.
